Feeling lucky here, my 02 has not burned a drop yet.

My '01 burns ~~1L every ~1500km or so when I'm running it on synthetic oil, but only ~1L per ~3500km when running on dino oil...

Keep an eye on your oil level - checking it every second fill-up is a good habit.

My 01 would burn about a quart and a half between oil change def something to look out for if you were unaware before. But now with a supercharger and krank vents oil consumption has dropped to 0.

Just to put my 2 cents in. Last time we ran my car hooked up to the innovative motorsports AFR thingy, I was going from high 12's through vtec to 11 flat for an AFR. With the mods listed in my sig, I seem to have an overally rich car, more rich that boosted cars. I will shed some light once I hook up the VAFC II

s2ks run pig rich at WOT. thats just the factory tune. you can cound on 12:1@WOT. so its normal to see a s2k puff smoke at WOT. youll also notice a small puff at VTEC also, this is the computer adding fuel. the ecu treats VTEC just like boost.

with a VAFC2 you can tune this out and pick up some great power.

So version you say 12 flat is a good AFR up above 6 grand. I thought some others told me it would be okay to run low 13's. ??

12 is what the stock ecu runs at. 13.5 is where you wanna shoot for when your tuning.

hey Elistan,

What are OBD2 codes??? My 2005 burns at least a quart every 1kmiles. My friends who were in their cars behind me (obviously) saw a puff of bluish/blackish smoke when i hit Vtec. I know it runs a little rich when it switches over to vtec, but they did say it looked like bluish oil smoke. What sort of testing could a dealership do? I only have 26k on mine and i'm concerned.
