How come I don't see to many high powered s2ks as true track cars and being sponsored and running in track events and compeitions 24/7. I see this with the STI, EVO, rx-7 etc. Maybe Im not reading or look at the right places but is the s2k not used to compete alot?

you should read racing a competition more, there are a number s2ks that race, especially in CA.

ok great I will When I go to the bookstore I give a quick scan at some magazine covers every week or so and I see these track prepped with crazy cars on them with tons of mods but no s2k usually!!

I'm not really sure either I dont read em I just look for an s2k article or something. I think super street? sport compact car? Not sure I dont really pay attention to the magzine names Plus all I ever hear and read about turbo 350z or STI that, wheres the s2k publicity

 

The S does very well in National Solo II events. It is a shame that the MY04 was moved into A Stock. Tough competition there

 

why was it moved? Is 00-03 in another class?

 

those are drag racers. Sorry its a common mistake for me to assume racing includes turning

drag racing a s2k it "like using ginsu knifes to chop wood".
