Default S2k Suspension Upgrade

Could someone please let me know when this year the S2k got its suspension upgraded?

The USDM cars changed MY02. But for EDM or JDM I can't say.

Do you know exactly what suspension components were changed and how on the MY02's? Ditto for MY03

I don't know if it was an "upgrade" as much as a change.

I think they used somewhat stiffer springs with a somewhat softer front bar, giving it more "forgiving" handling characteristics.

I've heard the MY01 has better swaybars than the 02.

Better? That's pretty subjective. Most owners go for a stiffer front bar. The '02 has a softer bar.

that's what I meant...the 01 has a stiffer bar....therefore, better than the 02.

But somehow the softer bar and stiffer springs creates an easier-to-drive out of the box setup. Not sure why, somewhat counter-intuitive.

does seem counter-intuitive. I mean, that's why you STBs, X-braces, et al to stiffin suspension....or so I thought.

So which set up is better the 2001 or the 2002 or is the aftermarket the main answer
