Default S2K Towed Away?

I was wondering if you guys knew of any mechanical/structural ways to prevent a car from being stolen via some kind of towtruck, dragging, etc. I'm a little paranoid about the S2K i'm about to get after what happened to my GS-R. (Drilled through key hole, hotwired, later found --> entirely stripped) I figured out how to stop the hotwiring, but what if they just pick up the car and load it on a flatbed? Or lift and rear wheels and roll it away? Any way to prevent this?

If someone reallywants your car, there's hardly any way to prevent it short of posting an armed guard when you park it.

Truer words are rarely typewritten.

Keep your car insured against theft and don't worry too much about it being stolen. Pee-Wee Herman was anal about preventing his cherished bicycle from being stolen and when it was, he began the downward spiral that ended with being caught boxing the clown in public. Learn from his example, realize that a car can be replaced but the time you spend worrying about it cannot.

I used to drive a repo truck for extra money when I was in high school. You can snatch as we call it anything and everything. People would put The Club on there and lock the shifter, never worked. You can put these spikes on the top of the boom and lower it from inside the truck and back up to the vehicle, when you see it jump a little, you hoist it up and drive away. If the wheels are locked or turned, you drag it far enough out of site and then re position it so that you can tow it. All of five minutes and you would be surprised how with tires squealing down the road, the people never woke up. Trust me, no problem to snatch a car. Get good insurance and/or a garage and sleep well at night. And I might add, don

Well, that would certainly make it more difficult to tow but you could still drag it down the street and then load it up on a roll back. It might cause some damage to the car but what is a little damage to a car you are only going to use for parts. Plus, where are you going to buy the boots and the cost????? Don

We would take the boot off and take it back to the campus security office and put it on the counter and tell the officer, "someone left this on my car." You can

If they want your car bad enough, they WILL find a way... My friend used to have a new Mercedes Benz CLK with those laser encoded super secure ignition keys that the car will not start without it. Can't be hot wired. The keys cannot be duplicated, etc, etc, etc. (I think similar to what we have, not sure?)

They simply towed it away...

When there's a will, there's a way. That's why there is insurance.
