So basically after you...."pick up" my idea, (with the designs that other community members worked on, and submitted for use on a "non-profiting" t-shirt for the better good and more or less free advertisement for the site) you turn around and sell these shirts, and make a little cash for your company
then you have the balls to post again for more free designs, for you to use to make more money?
Now I know everyone reading this is just PISSED by now. But over the past couple of years I have very openly tried to boost the membership of this community. With NO intentions what-so-ever of receiving any benefits. I do it for the community, not my own personal gain.
Before anyone says or quotes me from the links, I did say I just wanted a shirt to be made......that's not the point.
I know this will get me the biggest
on s2ki but I have stayed silent long enough.

not sure where you are coming from.
Are you saying he stole your idea for the design of the shirt or the idea of producing S2000 or S2kI specific shirts or both.
If your answer is yes to the first part then I would say you have a beef, but, beyond that, anyone with the resources and the ability to sell on this site can produce a shirt for us to buy.

is the one that created the 9k tach shirt that we sell. You are not the only one trying to put together shirts for the community, I have tried various times to get designs from the community, like you said everyone is here to help each other. This is what I do for a living, make car shirts I sell at events, and also work with communities to do shirts. I see no harm in runing a business. I also spend lots of money sponsoring S2ki. I have been doing this business for about 4 years now, so I did not "Pick up" your idea. I am not here to Flame you or talk down on you, I can appreciate what you were trying to do for the community as a member of the community.
What I am saying is this is for anyone who wants to participate in this design contest, Anyone can do it or not, but the outcome will be a Poll of what peope like and we will try to bring as many designs to the community as possible. Everyone Wins. Now if you have any other argument in regards to this, which I hope not, let me know.

Anyone can take it upon themself to print any of these designs and sell them to the community. If they decide to sell them at-cost and not turn a profit, then great. If they choose to add "a little extra" to the cost to help compensate for their personal time, then I think that's fine. In either of these two cases, I don't think you could say they are NOT doing it for the benefit of all of us. At least the shirts are being put on our backs
The only case I wouldn't agree with this is if someone's design was stolen without their permission and sold (for profit or not). However, if permission is granted prior to selling the shirts, then all is good.
I'm not trying to start a big argument on this. I am simply stating an alternative POV.

I wasn't in it to "sell" the shirts. I was more like when a local community makes shirts, you find out how many you need, (more = cheaper), you place an order and split the costs.
It came out to under $6.00 each.
it's the simple fact that, some how the shirts designed for fun/non-profit were produced and sold by someone for profit.
I don't have beef with anyone.
