Default S2k used market values

I've been out of s2k ownership for a few years now but when I last sold my '04 in '08 with only 16k miles I sold for $25k. I'm seeing s2ks with more miles asking the same now. Did something happen that bumped up the prices other than the car being discontinued?? Was looking into getting a CR as an extra fun car.

I think all cars have seen a spike in recent years, especially the NSX, ITR and CR.

Many reasons but the main is that it's becoming more of a classic as it ages and there are less clean low mile examples on the market.

Same thing here. I sold my AP1 in 2012 with 44K miles in mint shape for $15,900. Today the same car for sale would be asking $20K because of the lower miles. Deals do pop up but you have to find them on craigslist. Those listing on this site already know these cars are worth over blue book. I just missed out on an all stock weekend car 2006 with 60K miles for $15,500 locally. Kicking myself.

After spending the last several months stalking Craigslist like a hawk, I have to agree. And don't even look at CarMax.
Finally found a show-room mint 2003 ap1 with 67k miles on it for 15.5k this month. Not sure where or how I could have found a better deal.

SoCal has some crackhead pricing.

Sometimes I see some with very high miles (80k-100k miles) asking $20k+ lol. F that sht.

Low mileage, 20K Suzuka Blue on Facebook. Search for Joe Casella.
