Just came across this video. S2000 vs 350Z at Monza (I think). Very cool.

Looks like this guys S2000 is running a supercharger or something. He gets him under braking and then never looks back.

Sometimes you have to wonder on these track videos if the two guys didn't get together and say "hey man, I got an idea. You can tape how you wax me all over the track if I can do the same with you. Then we'll both have cool posts to go back to the forums with!" Not that the S2000 isn't a great track car, but it seems there's been a video showing it out drive just about every car. I'm still waiting on the Enzo v. S2000 video to pop up.

 

The guy is S2000 fanatic. His website is full of Videos of him running on the F1 tracks even against 996.

I would have to say that in this case that the S2000 appears to be heavily modified and probably running R compound tires. The 350Z looked reasonably stock.

This video is from an Italian site, and yes there is a video of this guy running down a pair of 360s.

In any case I don't think any of this is 'set up', these are different cars with drivers that have a wide range of experience and skill.

The 360 video was awesome! I wonder what kind of event he was in. He's not wearing a helmet in this last video.

 

yes I noticed that also, he doesn't wear a helmet in a lot of these videos. That's crazy!

I always wear a helmet at the track. I can't imagine going off or getting into a wreck and not wearing one.

 

Damn, was it a race? He passed so many cars so effortlessly....it looks so strange. I would think there are at least couple cars trying to race with him right? It doesn't look that way though.

 

probably just a 'lapping' day.

 

Ive seen a lot of this guys track footage...i dont think his races are staged...his car must be heavily modded though as i dont think an s2k can pass a 350z that easily
