Top gear reviewed the new Boxter on last nights edition of the show - and I missed it!!!! But apparently the review was saying the S2000 is the car to go for from a cost/performance/fun perspective.

Anyone manage to catch it??

Finalgear.com has the torrents available...the old site was awesome, had every top gear video on there...it's now been taken over by someone else, but I think he's going to put the video back up. They're freaking great, I highly recommend them.

 

new boxster? or was it the old review with the "fastest production soft-top" segment....

Although I am not positive, my friend said it was the the new boxter on TV last night, - I did see the review you are talking about though. I am interested as another show in the UK (fifth gear) also reviewed the 05 boxter but only had it up against the Z4...!! They said that there was nothing between them in terms of speed, handling etc, and I was sat there thinking "what about the S2000!"

 

It was a repeat of last years show, it wasn't the new Boxster it was the old one.

The S2000 is beaten around the very wet track by both cars (only by 0.4 sec) but Clarkson loves it.
