wow, it is lighter on the front. quite surprised. No wonder it looks like we have postive camber on the front and negative camber at the rear for the wheels.

no...im pretty sure its 49/51

however, different places say different things. the official honda website doesnt say anything, but i went to s2000news.com and it says 49/51 for the 2002 s2k.

honda has said both 50/50 and 49/51 - the latest on their digitial newsroom "S2000 Fast Facts" page says its 49/51.

So if we start tweaking the cars...take a few pounds off the exhaust/header/interior/trunk/and others...we'll screw up this balance right?

The f/r weight distribution is measured at the wheels?

Probably because of the addition of the glass rear window...

Maybe the glass window added slightly more weight towards the rear. I'm sure removing the spare would put it back to 50/50.

I agree with the 49/51 for my alignment person confirmed it. When I took the "S" to the road track, we adjusted the camber and caster for a 50/50 distribute.

Any good shop (and be cafeful who you let adjust your alignment) can adjust your suspension based on the the car's true weight. I have made some modification to the car, so I had to adjust accordingly.
