S2K Won't Start

Try to give the car a jump. I left my radio on the other night by accident and my buddy club battery was dead in the morning. I couldn't find jumper cables so I pushed it down my driveway and popped the clutch. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Was the new battery properly charged when you picked it up? Also, have you tried to jump start it?
Some new batteries need to be charged before they are installed. So make sure your new battery is actually charged. Good luck.

Leaving the car alone for that long, you should disconnect the battery anyway.
Secondly, does the car lurch at all even with the clutch depressed? Your clutch plate could be frozen. When you leave a manual transmission car undriven for that long, you should brace something against the clutch pedal to depress it.
Thirdly, I hope you have your radio code. You're going to need it.

I had a similar non-starting problem just a few weeks ago. The car was down for a month and I had to purchase the shop and electrical manuals. Turns out there was a broken wire in the harness preventing a ground in the ECU to immobilizer module by the key. This does not sound like your problem, but mine was severe and only by using the trouble shooting guides from the shop manuals were they able to track it done and fix it.
Don't waste time - take it in and let them start a thorough diagnostic to keep your non-S2000 driving days down to a minimum.

Not a good idea. If you put something on the pedal to keep it depressed, you will wear out the clutch springs.

I hot wired (add a small extension and a plug) the battery with a battery tender. connect the battery tender to the plug and forgettable it. I can charge my S without opening the hood.
If you store you S for a long period of time, that is the only way to go.
I won't recommend to cold crank your S every week, it is commonly known that this practice is not good for the engine.
