Default Which S2k would you buy?

I'm looking at two s2000s right now
both same year(2005) and same color.

one has 11,000miles and the other one has 14,000

the 14,000 miles one is $2000 cheaper and is at a dealer.

the 11,000 miles one is more expensive and sold by a private person.

both 2 owners

the major difference other than the price is:

the 11,000miles one still has factory warranty till november of this year and bumper to bumper warranty till 2012.
AND it was certified used car when the second owner bought it.
also the owner replaced the soft top under warranty couple days ago due to excessive wear and tear.

the 14,000miles one, is $2000 cheaper and no warranty.

should I spend the extra money to buy the one with 11,000 miles?

btw what does bumper to bumper warranty cover?

thanks

If the car is a CPO Honda, then it is probably HondaCare, which is not bumper to bumper but drivetrain only. Still not bad. The only thing is that you must be careful about modding. HondaCare, and most "extended warranties" will void everything if the car is modded...even in the slightest way.

If you plan to mod, go for the cheaper one and save the $2000 for toys for the car.

If you plan to stay stock, the extra money for the warranty is good peace of mind...and a new top is nice too.

yeah I think I want to save money and buy OEM lip and maybe an exhaust...but for some reason I just can't trust dealers...and the idea of new soft top is very tempting...

well as long as it drives as it should, it would be fine i guess..
but in the picture there was this thing on top of the trunk..I think it might be some kind of receiver? any ideas what it is? cuz if I buy that one from the dealer I want to take it off..along with the side strakes..

It may be the optional XM receiver antenna...kinda big and ugly, but functional.

it is big and ugly. My XM receiver is one of the smaller ones. The only thing I have against mine is that best buy I think glued it on there.
