Default S2Ki Board Induced Spring Spacer Paranoia

I took delivery of my car yesterday and have now checked for the spring spacers a total of THREE times on each corner!

Once at the dealership;
Once at my parent's house (showing the car to dad);
Once at my friend's house (showing him the car).

How often should I check this??? Or really - I wonder if I'll check again.
Funny how once *should* have been enough...

Maybe I should try being paranoid about something else. Any ideas?
- oil cap tightness
- spark plug tightness
- ???

Perhaps ignorance is bliss.

oversteer/snap oversteer....

Went out again Sunday to test this...Could not induce a spin...pulling enough G's to make me car sick...

Best I could do was power oversteer in first at VTEC transition, still very controllable and FUN...

But I've got about 35 less hp due to altitude.

You got a point bud... but look on the bright side, it means that a) you love your car enough to care so much, and b) your car isn't going to suddenly gush out oil all over the engine after you've hit a pothole that should have been easily traversed if it hadn't been for the spring spacer that was left in your springs.

So be happy and smile

Try checking the oil.. better odds on a payoff than the others.

Two CLASSIC responses!!!

FDLOL!!

No worries, man, just follow the normal procedure and don't let the paranoia get to you...your new racecar will be fine.

Hope your parents liked it!

Yeah - this one is on my list too...
Every time I turn the wheel with any speed - I keep waiting for the back-end to step out.

But this one isn't really s2ki board induced paranoia for me - it's from driving borrowed s2ks at autocrosses. I spun my friends on my first run - not a big deal - EXCEPT that it happened so fast it caught me totally off guard and I never even had a chance to correct it.
