Exclamation s2ki close to 50k members....

I'm serious, most owners I've talked to probably 90% don't know about this website dedicated to the s2k until I've told them. Most recent was a lady s2k owner I met when I was doing the squeaking lugnut fix on the s2k. She had a prob with her top folding down all the way so I mentioned the site to her for directions on how to fix. I also spoke to someone at honda USA, the person was pretty interested and said he would check out the site.

This could be age differences though. The owners I run into though are usually older than me and maybe don't spend to much time online.

I also wonder if we have any honda execs ever reading this site....Recently read that VW CEO or pres regulary reafs and posts on the Vortex boards.

Yeah, I know this to be true firsthand. I recently got an earful (eyeful actually since I had to read it) on an S2KI thread for posting about an S2KI meet on another forum. I was told by my "Mentor" that if an S2K owner is interested they will find it here. Didn't make much sense because I only recently found this site. A few S2K owners I met since purchasing mine also did not know about it. Of course I spread the word to any S2K owner I meet about this site. This site is a must see for any S2K owner.

The previous board software used to display both 'owners' and 'members'. I think owners at that time were only a fraction (about 1/10th) of the total membership.

There is a mountain of information accumulated on this site.... if you can just find it. Unfortunately the current software has severely inadequate search functionality. One of the board admins is currently working on a vastly improved version which IMO will improve the value of S2Ki immensely.

Well, maybe one of those 50k members will buy my '04 with just under 10k miles on it. It's been a nice weekend toy.

The car is a blast, but my wife & I have decided that we're not convertible people. I like AC!

I'm ready to sell. I'll probably be looking for a Porsche Cayman S next year.

See info. below.

My salesguy gave me the site when I bought my car. I already knew about it from my buying research, but it was a nice thing to do.

I just met a fellow S2000 owner couple months ago and he drives a pretty modified S2000 and he swears he hasn't heard about S2ki. He said that he goes to another S2000 forum. Are there more S2000 forums out there?

Yes. There are a number of smaller independent regional and international forums also.

Thanks! Nothing against S2000.com but S2ki.com is nicer
