Default s2klisa's FINAL post on smashed baby

Sorry for all the screwups on the last post. With Guntersmurfs help, you can still see the pics of the car on the "pics of s2klisa's smashed baby" post.
Update: Son is still very sore and broken but already trying to convince me to get another (he won't be behind the wheel again for a good hot minute regardless!)
Other driver, (19 y/o) has been released from hospital and will make a full, albeit, long recovery

My problem: I've never had car lust prior to owning this car and really, really fell in love with the Silverstone. Although many have suggested I choose another, there is not another I lust over, including Suzuka Blue 2002.
Do I say f**k it and get a Nissan Frontier or do I dare risk silver #3?

I think since you do lust after the car, you should get it. There's nothing worse than regret getting a car. I am all for getting one more, pluse, third time's a charm.

Vote for Silver from me.

Hmmm, are you a pessimist or an optimist? I'd say, just get another one. You've had some incredible unfortunate incidents, but it will get better...

in the immortal words of The Butthole Surfers...

it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done.

Hi Lisa,

I guess it is up to you...

I am personally just very happy to see that the S2000 is not only the most fun car to own and drive, but really a safe car as well!

Maybe you can take this into account as well??

Thanks for sharing your experience, those awful hurting pictures, but very valuable information with us!

Best regards,

Siepel

PS
I hope your son (and the other driver for that matter) recover real quick!

You ARE the coolest mom for sure!!!!

Wow, that really does suck. Sorry to hear about your loss. I don't own an S2000 yet but I'm in the same boat as you in that I don't know what I'll do if I can't get it in Silverstone. Amazing color!

On the Frontier side (don't know if that was a joke or not), I've got one and I'm very happy with mine so far. I bought a used manual '98 model. Not a bad drive for a truck but I desperately miss driving my GS-R. Should make getting the S2000 a real treat though.

I wanted to mention that Consumer Reports just did a review of trucks including the Frontier and pretty much slammed it. Definitely do some research and drive some others before jumping on the Frontier if it's anything like the model they tested. Mine is about as different as you can get from the tested model.

did you have a silver/red or silver/black.. whichever.. i'd check out the opposite.. hopefully to off set the bad color karma.. and silvers suppose to be harder to spot on the road.. which is why i always have the headlights on.. day or night.
