S3000 Road and Track cover
So this morning I went out to the mailbox to find that I got a shiney new copy of the November Road & Track and HOLY SHIT!!1! on cover was the S3000! Standing in my entry way wearing nothing but my jammies and a pair of slippers I frantically thumbed to page 18 and...
All that was there was three short paragraphs of speculation. What a complete rip off!!
You would think a cover story would have a bit more substance. R&T FTL

I liked the part where they admitted to blending the picture from the S2000 and other new Honda open air concept (OAC or something like that). Total photochop on the cover - something I only expect on the cover the Comso.
Total letdown!!

Did they make another chop from the back? Their "S3000" actually looks pretty good, wonder how they would do the back. Its a nice evolution of the current S. It'll never happen though, I already gave up hope long ago.
They said the S3000 is v6 and awd. I dont like, i think the S should be like supras,3000gts,rx7s,300z. Shortly produced so altho demand is till high there is no supply, which means we can sell our S for a **** load : )

An S2000 that's unchanged except for OSV-like styling cues would look super hot, IMO. Throw in a more powerful engine and Honda would have a killer car.

I think the front 3/4 of the concept looks great. Just change the trunk...I do not like the BMW influenced rear. Stay true to the S2000's characteristics, offer a coupe version, throw in the Acura RDX turbo motor with more performance/boost and call it a day!
