Default Is it safe?

Hey everyone, Im new to the forums and i just did a search but didnt come up with an answer i wanted. I have been thinking about getting a s2000 after selling my audi a4 and i just wanted to see how the s2000 stands up against a car crash, side crash front and rear crash. Is it safe? I have seen pictures of some salvaged s2000s hit from the side and they seem like they bent in half that made me wonder. What do you guys think?

Thanks

4 star and 5 star ratings - very safe in a crash.

I've seen many S2000 crashes and totalled as well. I have seen also some S2000s' so badly damaged BUT the cabin remained intact. It is amazing how safe is this car. Everyone survived with only bruises and nothing else.

I believe it must be one of the safest roadsters out there.

talking from personal experience i must say, the S2000 offers very good safety when it comes to crashes..I managed to roll over the freakin thing and got out absolutely unharmed.

Leftis, I remember this and we all thought of the worst, but you came out of the S with no injuries.

Don't want to kill the atmosphere, but I doubt the people that didnt make it out of an S2000 accident came here to post "rolled it and got killed, can I get my turbo out of the car?"

Yes there are safer cars but for a roadster, it is a very safe one
