R the bars next to my hand safe ??? or are they just hand bashers in a side inpact crash ..... makes me think top down , just in case
can't edit this it would ruin my mistake ..and this tread

Oh, you mean the door handles?
If so, I don't think it's that close from where the hand rests.
I always have my left hand on the steering wheel.

what are u like 3 feet tall ????
i mean the convert top bars that are right next to my head , maybe no yours but anyone over 5'8 .. or so will smash their head in a side impact crash , imo .... thats my point ....hope that clears that up

^ LOL dude you said where your hand rests...not head. ya they're supposed to help. each one can withstand 10x the weight of the car. but for me 5'10", if the car flips...I'd better duck.
