I need some help from some smart people so I came here.

I have an S2K and love it. I also have a Honda Prelude. I have had it for years. I brought it to Honda and was trading it in for a CRV (winter driving). I am informed my title is "Salvaged" and my car is worth nothing. I look at the title and it has no marking on it - ITS CLEAN (nothing) - Actual Mileage. What can I do? Should I go after the used car dealer?

Let me get this straight. You have a title that shows "clear", yet the dealership you wanted to trade the Prelude to says the title shows "salvaged"?

Have you done a Carfax on your VIN? If not, I suggest you do so and see what you come up with. If Carfax also says "Salvaged", then you may want to take it up with the used car dealer you bought it from.

It's a good idea to check it yourself, because the dealership may have entered the VIN wrong when they were doing the check. Good luck!

 

Looks like a dealer mistake or they're just trying to rape you on the price for your car.
