Dont worry, Elsie is alive and well. The covers I think you're talking about are synthetic. However, the seats are covered in leather.
Did anyone else notice the deer standing on the shoulder as we neared the lake? I called on the radio to take it easy. A deer could ruin your day at ***mph

If you all do go again let me know...I would love to do it again..
That guy was me! Don't worry, he's nice to me now Yes it was definately a blast, I had the red s2k that had the crumpled door (not the cow one)! I took some photo's also, just haven't had time to get em developed. Was definately interesting to see the mods and finally meet everyone in Austin. Had all smiles by the end of the day (which totally made me forget about the incident at the gas station)! Will have to do that again some time.

Dale

PS - I will probably be back up in the Austin area around the end of August, if anyone wan't to get together.

Gabriel,

I had a blast, it was a good drive. BTW, great job keeping up w/ the lead pack w/ your Civic - I've never seen one go so fast!

In case you haven't found it, we have an Austin-specific forum @ https://www.s2ki.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=28

Gabriel - I didn't go out last weekend, but I know I've run into you on the streets from time to time in my red/black S2000, right? Congress? Players? Harley Parking lot? Right?

Gabriel, you kicked ass! I had a great time playing with you guys, so watch the Cental TX forum for more drives soon.

Hey wait a minute.... no cows were killed in the making of my seat covers, scrunchie, CD case, or anything else cow printed in my car! Rick Hesel, on the other hand, is responsible for the deaths of many, many of Elsie's kin...

Saw the deer, could deal with that, however, the s.o.b. in the electrical van that held us up for every, should be shot and stuffed. He ruined a nice stretch of driving.
