If I am not mistaken, that is for refilling the fuel quickly for pit stops....

I'll see if Sean has any pictures of it tomorrow.

I noticed they're not running their usual black sw388's. I'm suspecting that they're using the ones pictured to stuff fatter tires under the car. Mingster, is this true? Did you get a chance to look at the tire sizes? If this is true, I'm kinda bummed b/c I have a set of the sw388's, and they're not using them.

i don't know if it's a J's wing, didn't see any marking on it except it's aluminum.

the rear bumper is stock, they punched it out and put mesh on it.

Speeeding: depending on which Spoon car you look at, they'll have different equipment on it. this one was running the Work Emotion CR wheels (the offsets are not very good for our general purposes IMHO, but we do have a Work Wheels GB going on) and racing slicks. Just because this Spoon car doesn't have the SW388s doesn't mean others don't either. the road going, all blue Spoon S2000, for example, has ALL of the Spoon Sports parts you can buy and it's more tuned than this racing S2000 (engine wise) - again, for endurance race regulation reasons they can't play with this one too much. when i was talking with my friends in the garage (yes, it was MotoRex), they mentioned that Spoon's got 8 to 10 S2000s in their fleet for various roles in racing and R&D, so different strokes for different folks.

On a last note: 8 million yen gets you a used Spoon S2000, if you're interested MotoRex can probably arrange the import.

One of the pics has a blue Skyline GTR V-Spec II in it, that car belongs to the guy that did the Fat and Furrious. the technical advisor, i was told, also has one (great job of technical advisory - Honda 2000? SR20DET in a Honda? wtf?)
