Keith (aquatic) and I are heading to Gingerman Raceway this evening. We're gonna party it up like rockstars in South Haven, Michigan (woohoo) tonight and have all day to run at the raceway tomorrow...

Looks like Jay Li (without S2000) and Stealthy S2K will be joining us...anyone else? Come join us...G-man is a blast, perfect for the S2000. In fact, the owner of the track has one...along with a dozen or more other cars, too!

What time are you guys leaving? What's the cost? How much track time do you expect to get?

 

Urmil, I sent an email out the Midwest group last night...did you not get it?

I haven't done a Speedtrial event before, so I can't say for sure about how much time we will have. The event does start at 8:30 and ends at 5. So it's all day...and Saturday, there is no church to close down for 'quiet time' (there are a few churches in the area that Dan closes the track just cuz he's such a nice guy).

The cost is 130 dollars...and we'll probably hook up with Jason and whoever else wants to for a bite then hit the road by 8 or 9, I am betting. We are meeting folks at Clementines in South Haven about 10.

You guys are taking off tonight for tomorrow, I will try to join you all. If I come I will actually be coming from Detroit in my fiance's cousin's '99 Saleen convertible. . .is that ok? Nisha, fiance's cousin, races the snot out of her Saleen and has let me drive the car as my own everytime I come up to Detroit.

She is an exec. at Ford, so she can get these at a whim, she's on the list for the Ford type R (?, I won't pretend to know what this is, it's just the creme de la creme of Mustangs as far as Nisha's concerned).

So if I come, look for me in the Aluminum Maroon drop top Saleen....yes it's custom painted too (every year, I might add).
