I came to a stop and as I was making a right turn, I guess I pushed my accelerator a bit too hard because I started losing control of my rear end of the car. The road was dry too!! Next time, I better be a little careful......Anyway I saw a red S2K today on Rt.40 around 8:30PM. Are you here??? Just wanted to say Hi!

Did that the first week I had my car, making a right turn near my house. They told me to be creful in the turns, didn't realize it was actually true until it happened to me. From then on, took it easy, especially in the rain. Hope nothing happened to your car!!!

Keep seeing the "lose rear end" post over and over. It must be that most people who are buying the S2000 are former Honda FWD owners. RWD is a much different animal than FWD. I love the feeling of the rear wheels pushing the car. Only have had 1 FWD car and did not like the pulling of the front feel. Oversteer has a much more natural and exciting feel to me than understeer.

It's NOT the car it's the driver. I've driven rear wheel drive cars most of my life and you just have to learn how to handle it. You can't let off the gas around a turn. Enter the turn with confidence and be in the right gear and push it all the way through. Time will fix these rear slips. Just my 2 cents

Don't be afraid of it! Learn to control it and you will never buy a fwd car again.

I suggest going to a parking lot or similar unpopulated area and break it loose a few times. You discover that its pretty predictable and in my experience, easily corrected.

I had the same thing happen a few days ago...I took a 90 degree right turn at ~45 mph and the tires were cold so the back slipped. haha...was a bit scary because there were cars in the other lane, but I only had a little rear drift, counter steered slightly and straightened out without any reduction in speed. After the adrenaline rush wore off, I thought it must have looked either really stupid or really cool from outside the car
