Default Scissor Doors

I saw an ad for a company that sells bolt on kits for Lambo style scissor doors (the name of the place was Vertical Doors I believe). Original parts can be replaced to return to stock, if desired.

Has anyone installed and/or used them? On the S2000? Are they worth it?

It looks like it would be much easier to get in and out, especially in tight parking spots, along with the obvious "cool" factor. Kit was @ $1200, and a reasonable DIY job.

Input appreciated!

unless you own one of those $$$$$$$$ cars which came with lambo style doors. there is nothing "cool" about scissor doors. if you are getting them, get neon lights install under your car also.

Actually, they look kinda stupid on a $30K car, but it would match your username.
Oh, and don't forget all those stickers ................... LOTS of stickers, especially the ones that are Asian symbols. If you're going to have people gawk at you when you park and get out of your car, you may as well have them doing this:

There's a tool in my area that has a vette with those doors and he leaves them open all the time just so people can see his mod and he's just standing next to his ride.. What a spazzzzz.
