Default Scrape under bottom lip. How to protect lip?

Argh. I pulled a little too far into a parking spot today and scraped under the bottom lip. I expected this to happen, but it still sucks. The damage seems minimal and isn't visible. What is the best way to protect the bottom lip? Should I have this scrape touched up immediately?

Its just plastic so it doesn't need to be touched up to prevent rust. Axcilla @ coastal metals, one of our sponsors makes an aluminum lip protector that bolts underneath the lip in the factory holes, which would work well. He makes a plan version (just a protector) and a racing splliter which sticks out a little bit. These work only if you don't have the OEM front spoiler. A version compatible with the OEM front spoiler is on the way, which I will be getting myself!

Unhappy Reviving the Thread!

I am reviving this thread because I scraped up my lip going over a speed bump (which still totally hurts my feelings) and I would like to know:
1) How to repair it/what to do
2) What I need to do to protect it in the future/ prevent future damage. This is my first lowered vehicle so I am trying to enter dips at an angle, go slowly, etc., but apparently I still need help. So products and tips are helpful!

Thanks!

You can make something to protect the bottom of the lip, like that fabricated black piece in photo someone posted above. Marine Board is a good place to start. Its a durable plastic meant to be used as a longer lasting substitute for wood in the boating industry.

But you scraped up the front of your lip. So you would need to make sure whatever you use sticks out farther forward than the lip, so the sacrificial protector gets hit first (as does the well made one in the photo that was posted).
