scraped at the dealership
When I went to pick up my car from Bob Ciasulli in Jersey City (in for 2nd gear grind and clutch) I noticed a scrape on the right rear wheel well extending about 6 inches from the metal to the plastic bumper. Its a pretty decent scrape with a dent. My service writer wasn't in & neither was the service manager so I left the car there. I spoke to the service manager and he said they would take care of it, but it still sucks...
I've learned the hard way with a previous car. now, whenever I leave my car at the dealer, I invite the service writer to inspect the car, in my presence, before I leave. The first time with my 'S' he declined and I indicated that I knew the car was 'flawless' and would indicate such on the service ticket. He came out from behind the desk to inspect, agreed the car was clean and we have never had a problem.

I think you should switch dealers. Bob's reputation in the business is very questionable and they are a little shady. Any reputable dealer with service yourcar. Try Paramus or Essex or even Rt 2 they all are excellent dealers.

i went to bob casulli honda in Jersey City and asked the parts guy if I could get the oil bolt washers for a S2000. The guy asked what engine was in it...ex...dx? Nedlessely to say, I bring my car else where. Before that I did get the spark plug tsb and they scratched the valve cover. I mean its not a big deal, but still I am very wary of those guys...i havent found anyone good enough to trust my car with in NJ so I do my oil change myself.
I take the car there because I work about a mile from there and my company does occasionally does business with them. I'm not really upset with the dealership, from my experience in car rental it happens all the time. It is just frustrating that I got the car in early November and its been in the shop for 2 weeks already. I'm paying for an S2000 not the Dodge Dakota that I'm driving now. My experience with the people at the dealership has been good so far, I plan on talking to the bodyshop tomorrow.
Gangstahype-I only just bought my car so it wasn't mine that you saw.
I 've learned in my two years in car rental to always check a car when picking it up from a repair shop, once you leave the lot you're screwed if you don't catch it.
