Default Scraped part of the frame today...

Well at least I think it's part of the frame. I scraped it just about a foot to two feet past where you would put the jack to jack up your front tire (yes my car is lowered). I dont think it's that bad. It's only on the passenger side and it is not that deep. My only concern is that there is some bare metal showing and I want to get the anti corrosive spray (or whatever they spray/paint to the underside of the car) put back on the car. Is this possible? Should I go to honda or my local body shop? I live on the beach in florida so I must take care of this quickly so it ownt rust in the future. Any advise would be great! Thanks

Spray or brush on, most any manufacturer will do, Just prep the area first, with a small wire brush to remove any loose paind or debris, and then wipe down with alcohol or acetone to get rid of grease and surface contaminants. then apply a couple of coats. Make sure if you go with spray that you work out of any wind and cover nearby areas (the side of the car) that you don't want any overspray on.
I grounded my dropped MY00 a number of times, still completely rust free when I traded it.

Good luck, Mike

I was camping one day in a previous car - it was lowered and I was in tall(ish) grass.
I ended up driving over a tree stump and scraped the frame underneath.

No visible damage, but I later found out that i had crushed the fuel lines under the car - moral of the story - MAKE SURE you havent done any more damage than what is obvious!
