Why would they rear end you? They have to pay for that unless your driveway is located off a major street.

Are you sure they wouldn't want to stop and wait for a few seconds than rear end you? Seems like common sense to me.

If possible, pull in at an angle rather than straight in, it may help avoid future scuffs.

- mine scrapes EVERYDAY when I come in and out the driveway...

It is hard to not scrape--the worst though is going over a speed bump and scraping underneath the middle of the car--I did that once and hated it. But a tip to not scrape the front--take steep driveways and such at an angle and go slow. never go straight on. And I never ever worry about the people behind me--I take my time. Basically what I like to do is pull up to the driveway or entrance I want to get into and get perpendicular with the entrance and then cut my wheel and slowly go up over the entrance--I almost never scrape.
