Since I'm 6'4" tall, I moved the seat all the way back and found that the seatback rubbed against the rear wall of the passenger compartment. Not horrible but I didn't like the noise. So, I simply moved the seat forward one notch - no more noise...

I still get the noise by pushing the seat when I'm out of it. I don't get any sound from the passenger seat. It almost feels like somethings given way under the leather.

I recently started to get the creaking too. It's only in the driver's seat. After messing with the seatbelt slightly and adjusting the seat, it pretty much went away. It still makes noise on big bumps though.

I notice it when the car does a weight transfer move from either sides, like cresting over a hill and making a turn. I guess there is some play in it.

This isn't a general noise it's apparent just by pushing the upper backrest and appears to be some sort of failure.

The passenger seat makes no noise at all.

In my experiance there are three noises:

1) The empty seatback rattling against the roll hoop
2) The seat belt buckle rattling
3) Under the seatbelt, in front of the bracket guide the leather is being worn out. There is significant wear where the belt rubs over the lip of the leather. IMO the most likely sound you're hearing.
