Default Seat rail lock

Greetings,

has anyone seen this lock before?
I’ve contacted every wheel lock manufacturer I know of, but all of them won’t give me the time of day, they probably think I’m trying to steal somebodies seats.

Those are the Kodokan seat locks. They were a thing back in the day when all the Civic guys wanted S2K seats!

To get them off, use a dremel tool or similar to cut a channel in the head for a straight screwdriver and unscrew them out.

thanx!
I remember those days!!!
that was in the news in the sfo Bay Area. Rag tops were very vulnerable because of those seats, thieves would take the car, take the seats and dump the car.
ao, you’ll need 2 seats and a top…it was a good thing I couldn’t afford those cars back then. This tags evolved too

I also heard about the rip off of the seats that often would total a good car. I ordered the seat locks from Kodoksn after proving you actually owned an S2000. He went radio silent for a long time due to medical issues but I have seen him pop up from time to time recently.

The locks were made by McGuard on limited runs for the S2000 and Kodoksn was the point man for the distribution of them. They are well designed to resist removal with conical heads. I also got some decals for the side window warning locks are installed in the slim chance thieves are literate.
The key for my locks does not have any marking at all from McGuard. I do see that my McGuard "Honda" wheel lug locks do have McGuard markings. I seem to recall there was about 8 or so individual key sets for the S2000 seat locks but I could be off a bit.
