Is it 2000-2005 and 2006-2009 different?

Does the headrest have a hole in it (with plastic grate) or not?

00-05 were all the same, as far as I know. The overall design was the same at least. 06/07 were the same and 08/09 were slightly different. I don't think that you can identify the exact year but pictures would get you to know an age range. I'm not sure what that would accomplish.

I've owned an AP1 (03) and an AP2 (06). Based on my anecdotal experience and in looking at cars for sale, the 00-05 seats have held up better. My 06 seats both had tears in 2017 at 87k miles. I've heard the 00-05's were made by Recaro and Honda did in-house for 06-09. Idk that to be completely true.

Pretty sure TS Tech did the seats, not Recaro.

Hmm. Seller did not know what year of car they came from. He never drove the car. Guess he was in a hurry to acquire them.

How about the color match on the repair? The shop wanted to charge me $300 for sewing in gray
leather to a black seat. I threatened to leave the seats there without paying. The guy insisted
that was the correct leather repeatedly. He said he normally didn't repair seats but since I was
such a good customer he did it for me? He finally compromied that if I bought a set of kazkins covers
he wouldn't charge me for the repair.
