Default Seats...

Do Honda seats have a VIN numbers on them or any other identifiers on them to link them to the car in which they were originally installed in?

Thx!

It's a shame they do not. Some people have tagged their own seats in a unique way, but not sure how many have posted or if they would.

It might make things easier when trying to recover seats.

Before I got my HT, I considered "branding" the VIN on the backside (bottom inside) of the seats. Nothing is perfect though, the "brand" could easily be obliterated. Something else to consider- You could easily remove the seats and put some type of identifier slightly hidden underneath and pray the thief never notices. Also pray that the buyer of these seats does notice and finds it in his soul to do the right thing.
Bad news- Once these seats are gone, there is probably little chance you'll ever get them back no matter what you do but you can give yourself a slight chance if you make a little effort..
