Default Are the seats interchangable?

I would like to switch the driver and passenger seats to even the wear on them. The search function didn't help. It seems to me they're reversible but I'd like confirmation before I start.

Also, if anyone has any tips on making the job easier, please chime in.

Thanks.

That's a good point. I never thought of that, but it seems that would still be reachable, although tighter.

I just looked at that. I don't think it will work as the seat belt latches will be in the way of the seat adjustments handles (both will be alongside the center console on both seats).

This is correct. When I put sound deadening all inside my interior I decided I would swap the seats as well since they were out. Not a possible feat for just a quick swap.

However...what you can do is swap out the actual cushions and leather themselves. 4 bolts for the bottoms and I believe they switch right over with no problems. The reclining and seatbelt hardware is on the frame. I don't really know about the backs but they may be able to be switched as well.

Thanks, jfw432. I'll go for the seat bottom switch. That's really the only part that's worn unevenly anyway.

in case you haven't done this yet, the seat bottoms are definitely interchangeable. they swap out just removing a few bolts. however, there are a few wires on the bottom that you'll have to detach and reattach to the swapped cushion, but that's not really an issue. if you accidentally break the plastic clips that hold the wires you can always just zip tie them back. i did this swap about 2 months ago when i replaced my top, and when i got in the car it felt brand new again. awesome!!
