I was on a group drive a while back, and on of the participants was a couple that had recently purchased their S. I asked them "Have you found the secret compartment?" They replied "Yes" and proceded to show me the glove box. I replied "No, the real secret compartment" and showed them where it is. They had no idea.

 

hmmmm....I figured maybe if I pass a couple of good deeds around maybe something magical will happen regarding my $1337 loss for the PSS9's/Fillmatic

 

Ah shucks, he found it. I was going to flame him with the "RYFM" chant --"Read Your F----- Manual" Now my fun is ruined . . . I will have to get a life

I never knew the compartment is called the "secret compartment" until I came to S2ki!

I knew about the compartment before from playing around with one of the cars in a showroom. I then came to this board, and people kept talking about this secret compartment! I thought I missed something

 

fellow S owner showed me mine, and it's definitely there on the 06

 

lol, when I was sitting in an S2000 in the showroom I came across this "secret" and it took me like 20 seconds to find!...but it is a pretty good secret.

the first time i filled my tank i had to pull my manuel out to pop the damn thing!

 

Same here (the gas station attendant was like ... ) !!! The fuel door release is definitely more "secretive"
