I just recently noticed that Seibon has come out with a carbon fiber hardtop. Does anyone have any experience with these? Or know anything about them?

 

From what I've found out researching them as much as I can, they are almost identical to the Mugen top in every way. They come with the rear glass. I'm not sure about the weather seals, you may have to purchase them from Honda. I will definitely be getting one as soon as I purchase my S2K.

 

i've seen them in person.. the fitment is very good.... quality seems to be good from the outside... i didn't take a look at the inside...

and the rear window is not glass. it's plexiglass.....

 

Anybody know the price on these? How much cheaper than Mugen?

i can get a sweet deal on it i dunno if i should buy it since i would wanna paint it and leave the sides black(cf) ..., might as well buy oem right

 

also do they come with hardware from seibon

 

hardware is an extra 400 bucks i think..... either oem or you can purchase from seibon i believe....

and the top is like $3000 if i remember correctly....

 

I still like the OEM one better (I will be getting one soon) because of the extra visibility and better interior finish.

 

The Seibon top is $3000.00? If that's true, I'd rather get the Mugen top.
