Default Seibon MG Wing install help?

I just picked up a Seibon MG wing and wanted some info and help with the install. I have read that the wing uses the same stock location holes as the oem rear spoiler but how do I find out where to drill? Is there a template somewhere that I can use. How would I go about drilling my trunk so that I don't mess up the paint?

Thanks for the help

John

Well I can't confirm they are the same holes as stock, but if they are here are the stock spoiler installation instructions:

Can anyone confirm that it uses the stock oem holes?

The OEM lip (and probably spoiler) use 2 holes per side where as the MG wing only uses the rear holes so you'll have to fill the two front holes via a body shop or some other means.

My car didn't come with a spoiler so I don't have any holes in my trunk yet. I just wanted to confirm that the wing uses the stock holes so that I don't go drilling in the wrong places.

You could always mark the spots with a piece of tape, then set the new spoiler on top and make sure it line's up and looks good.

That should work fine.

on the underside of the trunk there are two circles where the stock holes for the spoiler are...1 on each side of the trunk lid...drill through those two circles and put the wing on..10 mins max

^^but if it doesn't use the same holes on the front of the mouts on the spoiler, he would have drilled the wrong place. i'd say line the spoiler mounts up with the rearward holes (you can find their location on the underside of the trunk lid) then mark the two front holes and drill those yourself. i installed my own rear wing and i know it takes a lot of balls to just go drilling through your trunk though... good luck

well if im not mistaken it is a pure copy of the mugen and if im not mistaken the mugen uses the one stock hole on either side and once again if im not mistaken that means its just like the mugen and one more time if im not mistaken that means theres one hole on each base plate that lines up with the already existing stock circles on the trunklid...if im not mistaken lol
