Default Self Test

Couldn't find it in a search but does anyone get a grinding/vibrating right after initial start up and you move the steering for the first time? Is this the EPS self-test? Seems a little unusual.

Thanks

It's actually the ABS doing a self-test ... If I'm not wrong.

Takashi,

You are correct. I just got the repair manual last night and read through it. Turns out everytime the ABS self-test occurred I happened to be backing out of the garage and turning.

Thanks,

It does not do it all the time - I think it only does that after hard brake use the last time you drove the car. The NSX does that too.
