Default To sell, or not to sell, that is the question?!?

Roughly six months ago, I purchased my dream car: a 2002 s2000 in the new suzuka blue color... A few weeks ago however, I moved and my poor s2000 just doesn't fit into my new lifestyle. I tried placing an ad in the paper for $32,000, and got one response in 10 days. I placed an add online for the same amount, and got two responses in two weeks. All three people that came to look at the car - ended up not being interested. All the dealerships within 50 miles of my new location (San Diego) are willing to give me anywhere from $23,000-$27,000. My dilemma is as follows: new s2000's are going for $35,000+ and my poor baby only has 8,000 miles on it... I should be able to get more than $27,000 shouldn't I? What should I do? Does anyone have any advice on where I can sell my car, or what to do so that I can get more than 27,000? Should I keep it for a few more months or what? All suggestions welcome (and anyone that is interested in a blue s2000 and lives in San Diego - feel free to contact me)

If it were me I would do anything in my power to keep it and just buy an inexpensive used car for when you need more space

How can a dealer give you any more than $27,000 for a used '02 with 8,000 miles on it? The dealer will only pay about $28,000 for a brand new, never titled, never driven '02 or '03. If you need to sell it, take the $27,000 and be happy. With some people able to buy BRAND NEW ones for $31,000, I don't think you'll get much over $27,000 for yours even if you sell it yourself. If you have the time, that is your best bet.
