Default Selling my S2000

After a few months of thinking, I've decided this weekend I will trade in my S2000 for a 2001 BMW 330CI convertible. I've always wanted that car and now I feel its a good time. I've only had my 2001 S2000 for only 4 months but it's way too small.

Do you guys think it is a good idea? My wife does...

Different strokes for different folks. The Bimmer will offer more room and comfort, but I bet it won't be nearly as much fun.

Good friend of mine has a 330Ci. Beautiful car with many extras. However, lvsk is right. It will never be as fun as an S2000.

However, you may not be enjoying the S now, so get something you will enjoy.

If you are getting the stick, it would just be as fun as the S2K. The 225hp engine is very powerful as well. The interior of the 330ci is nice, very luxurious. What color you are getting??

Before I ordered my S2K, I was gonna order the silver/grey 330ci conv. The reason I changed my mind cause they are not offering the optional 18" wheels and the Euro Aero kit yet. Also, I would save $14,000 and have a better handling roadster.

But anyway, good choice!

Carlson,

I'm getting the black on black 330Cic. For some reason, the 3-series looks more fun than the 5-series. I'm getting the manual transmission. The dealership has one in stock. Normally, there's a 3 months wait to order one. I see more S2000 than the new bodystyle 3-series convertible on the streets. I know its the right thing to do. Now I can haul more friends with me.

Nice! Black/Black, no need for a hard top. You are getting 01' or 02'? If 02', change the amber front bumper reflectors to clear and you are done! If 01', you would have to spend a few more hundred .
