Very very cool

I'm somewhat tempted to sell my black '01 for a shiny new one... we'll see though.

Trading tan (the ugliest color) for a fantastic red/black interior? You're crazy...

Some may say that's true....I really don't have any sensitivity towards anything racial though

And back on topic, nice fake out on the "I'm selling...AND GETTING ANOTHER"

You'll miss the Berlina when it's gone. Also, white shows dirt just as much as black, so is just as intensive to take care of in that respect. And a new glass top can be had for under $1k.

Stop trying to defend black. Black shows scratches, marring and swirls way more so than any other color (with red a close second) and is VERY high maintinence to keep looking new. White cars look CLEAN when they're clean, and semi clean but dull when filthy - add some pearl and you can get away with bi-monthly washes.

My '92 Legend beater is pearl white and always looks cleaned - although I wash it 2x a year tops. The pearl really helps in this instance, and it looks incredible when its clean (should have been a USDM S2000 color for sure).

I'm sure you know there are far more reasons for choosing the last year AP1 (besides the plastic window) vs a second year car as there are far less issues accross the board - although most easy fixes - its easier to just trade up in the end.
