Separated from AP1 for 3 years...
So in 2007 i bought an AP1, and in 2010 I moved to Japan. I have been here for 3 years now, with 1 year left. I have not once returned to the states and my car is in hibernation in my dad's garage. (a few old photo's of my car Flickr Album )
Since 2010 what's been going on around here? Are S2000's still competitive in time attack? New companies selling us stuff we don't need? Whats cool now? Talk to me. I miss this place.

Stretched and hella flush is all the rage.
The cars are still respectable at the track. Most of the competition from 2003-2007 has surpased the S in power and lap times. But I doubt you're looking to get a GTR or Cayman S, but if you are they will out drive an S.

Here in japan it's very diverse. You see a little bit of everything. drifting ratty slammed 4-doors with hideous bulky aero is the current rage. Cars like the Laurel, Mark II, Chaser, Cefiro, and Cresta just to name a few.
There is a push by Mark @ Fatlace to get a hellaflush thing going but VIP has been a style here for years. They tend to keep the 20's and -10' cambers on the big body saloons and vans(Honda offers an insanely cool Odysey van here) . Fwd is also still cool here. A nascar inspired EK9 resides not far from base, it's pretty awesome.

Your kidding me! A $50k Porsche and a $70k GTR will out perform my $20k honda built 12 years ago?? That's completely absurd!
