Default Setting them off

At the workplace parking lot, or in the neighborhood.... With my T1R 70mm single, I set off aftermarket car alarms all the time. Just last night when I left for break and when I left work for the day I set the same car alarm off twice. I think it is pretty funny, nobody has ever confronted me about it. It puts a smile on my face, and it always happens at the most random times. Share some stories if you got some good ones about setting off alarms.

70mm can easily set off alarms... I have T1R 70mm sparrow and it sets off a lot of times. It doesn't really put any smiles on my face though.

ALL THE TIME. Invidia + TP = every parking garage I go into turns into an symphony.

There is a yellow Explorer I pass every day on the way to and from work and its like clockwork - Sometimes I point when I pass and the timing is usually perfect - I decel to a stop sign in 2nd and the exhaust sets off the car's horn right when Im next to it. HONK HONK. Noted. LOL

How is this awesome? How would you feel if someone was constantly setting your alarm off?

That's kind of a douchebag thing to do.

seriously i hate it when i come back to my car after classes and find out my alarm went off. i have to spend a few minutes looking around the car incase it was actually set off due to contact. my car used to do that but i put in a silencer now and it doesn't set off alarms anymore. only a ricer would be proud to set off alarms in a garage, sorry you're not cool.

Thug_LyFe and all others - I didn't say I'm amused or get enjoyment out of it - especially when it startles me when driving (it happens at the most random times and only in certain RPMs/throttle) - but thats the result of someone setting their alarm waaaay to sensitive and most good alarms know the difference, hence the 2 honks vs the whole "brrrrrrrr we we we police siren, bomb dropping, etc" from driving by.

But yes, my car sets off alarms a lot. Its loud, what can I say? The smiles it does bring from tunnels and overpasses are worth it.

My HKS + Megan TP set off alarms all the time, especially if I'm on low RPM.
