I can't believe the attention I get with my S2K.Within two blocks of leaving the dealer, I got my first comment and a few minutes later, a woman on the 10 freeway was yelling something to me and giving me the thumb's up sign. The comments and attention are inevitable. Whenever I take someone new out for a ride, I tell them to watch and listen for the reaction of others. I've gotten positive reactions from old women, kids, some beautiful women, young men, old geesers, blue-collar workers, teenagers, cholos low riding in their car....

I've come out and found a small crowd standing around the car, looking into it. I particularly enjoy the subte but yet definite stares from women walking with their husbands or boyfriends.

I often tell people who comment on the looks of my S2K that it is sexy and elegant-just like the owner(which gets more laughs than it should Wonder if they are trying to tell me something.

The best response so far...while stopped at a light in South Pasadena, a young asian driving a souped up rice burner pulled up next to me. He stared at my car and at me. You could almost see the lust in his eyes (for the car..not me. After a few moments of intense staring, he gave me the finger and pulled away!

 

That happens sometimes, you just have to get used to it. Some people are just jealous.
