While the S is inhibernation I'll be driving a pair of other relatively fun cars that I don't care as much about getting salty. Plus summer tires in freezing temps is pretty sketchy when boost kicks in. Here are my two winter cars:
'16 Focus ST3. Recaro heated leather seats, heated steering wheel, fits the kids' seats fine, and better turn in and steering response then the S. Turbo hits hard but runs out of steam past 5k or so rpm. Great winter car so far.
'90 miata, just bought this winter (Tehnically my wife's, but she isn't comfortable driving stick on her own yet). Not nearly as sharp as the other two cars - stock suspension, tiny tires, and old rubber. Nonetheless it feels pretty special whenever I drive it, and I always gets more questions about it when I'm out and about. HT keeps it warm and even with the open diff it handles decently in rain and a bit of snow.

2012 Audi S4. Stage 2 Tune and tons of other upgrades. Runs about 470 hp or so. 6 speed. Only has 55k on it. Keeper.
Also just got the wife a new 2021 Volvo XC90 with Polestar Tune last week to replace her Mini Countryman we sold. We are expecting twins so needed something bigger (we also have a 3 year old). It is 330hp which is not bad for a 4 cyl! I just got it new Nokian snow tires/wheels today so should be pretty capable in the snow.
I had a 4 banger manual Corolla, old AMC wagon, Plymouth Volaire, all kept in Minneapolis (always winter there) as my airport beater cars. No pictures because they have returned to dust by the rust that takes cars like cancer. The frames literally failed in all of them from rust.
Used to rotate through a winter beater every year. Was fun but got tiring. My fave was a lifted GF Impreza with mud tires. Scariest was a AW11 MR2 even with snow tires. Most dangerous was an AWD civic. Had to trash it once I found one of the rear trailing arms was almost rusted through and a rear upper shock mount had less than 2" of rusty sheet metal holding it together!
2020 Civic Si for the work commute and a 2020 RDX A spec for the wife and kid. I have a TSP Stage 1 tune on the Si, it’s definitely quicker in a straight line than the S2k.
