Thanks for the offer, StormBringer (cool name!) but I expect that it's already on the train - if it docked yesterday, how long does it take to unload the cars and ship them off the next step to their destinations??? I dunno, but can't be long if it takes 7-8 days from docking to arrive in Cleveland.

I have a question: why does everyone refer to their S2000 as a "she"? I've always considered stick shifts a "he" (for obvious reasons).

I suppose for you guys, it's kind of like a girlfriend, huh?

Well, many of us tend to view things of extreme grace and beauty as 'she'. (I've been referring to it as 'it' until it arrives. )

I suspect I'll be calling the car 'she' soon enough. I've already referred to it as 'The Mistress "S"' - we'll see what my wife thinks about that after a couple of weeks....

I always call it <hushed voice> "The S2000". My husband thinks I'm crazy to be so insane over a car. ("It's just a CAR.") Huh.

By the way, was that you that my next-cube-neighbor saw driving around with the top down last Saturday (somewhere Rt. 91/Wilson Mills area)? Man, everyone but me sees these cars!
That must have been me! Just out for an afternoon drive to Chagrin Falls with the wife. The weather was beautiful that day!

BTW, do you know of any good roads in the area where I can really test this vehicle? I keep ending up on Chagrin River Rd and just east of there - a lot of fun, but not terribly challenging in this car (unless you're doing 70 mph). I swear, I hit some of these twisties, and cruise through them like they weren't even there!

JonasM,
I would be jumping up and down those 4-6 'till the car arrives! It's DEFINITELY worth the wait. One of the best times of your life is on it's way...hehehe... Have fun driving it and stay safe!
PS: I can't believe all the looks we still get in the car!!!!!!
