Ant suggestions on getting this off? Not seeing a nut.

spin it counter clockwise. If you can't get enough torque, wrap it with a towel, vise grip it and try again.

@Bullwings suggestion should do the trick. You can also try several layers of duct tape and a strap wrench. Even if you don't care about this knob someone may need it so simply putting a pipe wrench on it will get it off but probably destroy the leather wrap.

The locknut is 10x1.5mm and torqued to a whopping 7 (seven) lbf-ft. I'm guessing this is a common part for many Hondas.

Maybe someone used thread lock or Teflon tape or something instead of lock nut.
