Shift Light
I agree ... use your ears to know when to shift.
If you want lights, put as many lights as you want on the car, but use your ears and your butt to tell you when to shift.

those lights arent my thing either, if i were to go with something though i would get the shift beep deal before i would get a light. Give it a try though and see how you like it.

but all kidding aside...when it comes to shift lights wouldn't you say that is the best and most compact one around?? it's small and very easy to install...no bs to link it to and messing with all kinds of wiring

If you install one, there is a blue wire that monitors RPM with a plug/connector already on it. It's under the hood near the brake master cylinder. Actually it's under and more towards the side of the car. I guess it's there for some diagnostic reason. At any rate it seems like the ideal place to tap in for something like that. It just sits there waiting for something to be hooked up. I read about it in another shift-light thread, went and looked on my car, sure enough it was there. I have never seen it referenced in the Helms, although I probably just haven't stumbled across that page yet. Good Luck
