shift lights anyone?

No pills. Just adjust the dial baby. Mine is set at 8800, the pic was taken before I adjusted it (fwiw).

nology eng. has come out with a TINY shift lite...it was at sema..i'll see if i can get pics from my car.

I actually find myself short-shifting if I do it by engine sound alone. I've had 2 VTEC Preludes as well as 3 years on the S and find that my ear isn;t accurate enough. I'll shift before the buzzer goes off if I'm not watching the tach (too busy in an autocross). And sometimes I'll hit the rev limiter really hard if I go for the gusto...

I also find that with the 3 warning beeps, I know exactly where I am in the rpm range. With that I can hold the car at a particular rpm without hitting the rev limiter. This is useful when autoxing and you will know before you run out of gear but it's not worth it to upshift.

It was standard on the RX-7 (3rd generation). Pretty loud too.
