Shin-Etsu Silicone grease, anyone use this?

Napa sells silicone lubricant (not tune up grease), and there is a similar product from Sil-Glide at about $6. I have used it for years as a premium weatherstrip lube, as it is better and far longer lasting than cheap crap like Armor All.

Meh, the GM stuff does the job... I just apply it with my fingers/hands... kind of like sun tan lotion.

Some might say rubbing down your car like this out in the hot sun is a bit erotic

That has nothing to do with it for me (I waste money all the time on miscellaneous crap that I don't need)... its just that I find this GM stuff is just as good. Honda dealers here wanted like $30 for a small tube of that Shin-Etsu stuff. I got my GM stuff for $5 CAD.
