Now I've seen the 2006+ seats and they seem a lot nicer, leather seems to be different. Is the 00 - 05 seats made from different leather and the reason why the newer AP2 seats are more flat looking?

I don't mind it but would like to get that flat look back. Is that a sign of pores in leather clogging and I need to use warm water and soap followed by conditioner or is it wear and tear and cant really be corrected?

 

pretty sure pre 06 seats raen't even leather. I think they're vinyl...

 

Umm pretty sure it's leather.

 

The seats and the arm rest and door inserts are definitely leather. The dash is vinyl though.

 

all leather gets shined up from use man.... it is what it is.

 

I've notices a difference in the dash, seats not so much probably wear. But with the Dash even on low mile cars the ap1s seem to have a shinier look and the ap2s seem more flat... iduno

the newer seats are just a rougher cut of leather,....i know nothing about leather or how its made but ,....they are both still leather, the 06+ is just different,.....i guess i would describe it as an old weathered working mans hand for the 06 compared to a silky smooth 18yr old girl on the pre 06's

The steering wheel is leather wrapped correct? I have noticed that its pretty shiny, more so than the seats.

 

06 here they are leather but the same as 04 05 but too me the 08 have nicer leather
