my driveway is cannopied with Pine trees and other decidious variants...I use a cover. it's a pain in the ass to put on and take off and store, but it keeps acidic poo from etching my clear coat.

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the top once it is clean. 303 also has a convertable top cleaner that will do the job.

Personally, I would start with a mild soap and toothbrush and go harsher from there if that doesn't work.

Just wash your top 10 times and it will eventually go away. I had the same thing happen to me and it eventually faded away.

I like Vinylex from Lexol for the top.
Works really nice and good UV protection as well.

The best solution is to use a small Kleenex tissue - and apply it gently to the bird's butt before he misbehaves.
Failing that, I have found that a very thorough rinsing with a garden hose, followed by a little gentle rubbing with a damp sponge, followed by another rinsing, will usually get rid of virtually all the bird poop.

Like I suggested in the other thread, use Forever Black

Then afterwards, buy a bottle of 303 Protectant to condition your top.

I am guessing forever black darkens the surface? My top hasn't faded (that I can tell), but obviously, the darker it is....the less it shows stains

Cool

Lets start a bird hunting forum. We can share 'best practices' to rid the planet of these annoying S2k haters.
